The MacDiarmid Institute is New Zealand's premier educational institute with an emphasis on advanced materials and nanotechnology. It is a multi-disciplinary consortium of four universities and two research institutes.
All of the universities associated with the MacDiarmid Institute have available fellowships that are open to international as well as local research students studying for MSc and PhD degrees. The stipends cover tuition fees and are at a level that provide a comfortable life.
