About
Our objective is to present the researchers with some examples and role models, and to stimulate discussion around the commercialisation of science. Business Plan Competition.
General organisation
The symposium will be hosted in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Auckland.

Please do not submit an abstract. All students and post docs will be required to present a research poster. Size A1 = 594mm x 841mm (Portrait format).

Registrations for the Symposium are now closed.
Transport
The symposium will start at 11:00 am on the Thursday morning and will finish at 4:30 pm on Friday so that everyone has a chance to travel on the days in question. Attendees should make their own travel arrangements to connect with start and finish times of the meeting. Travel support will not be provided by the Institute. Please consult your supervisor.

Accommodation
The Institute will fund accommodation for one night, Thursday 19 November and breakfast on Friday 20 November, at O'Rorke Hall. To make a reservation please complete the booking form and email to r.henning@auckland.ac.nz, and note on the form that the booking is for the MacDiarmid Institute Symposium. Disregard the payment section of the form. Accommodation bookings need to be completed 10 days before the symposium, ie 09 November. Accommodation bookings made after that date cannot be guaranteed. If you wish to extend your stay it will be at your own cost.
