These free public talks in six locations around New Zealand (Tauranga, Napier, Whanganui, Nelson, Wanaka and Oamaru) discussed the realities of life as a scientist and the research in the MacDiarmid Institute – from Chemistry to Physics to Engineering to Biology and beyond. 

Ever wondered what the life of a nanoscientitst is like?  Wondering what it would be like being a female scientist in physics, chemistry or engineering – areas of science largely populated by male scientists?
